The only product of its kind that:

  Dries to an almost
  invisible hard coating in
  seconds with no messy
  residue to clean up.

  Is easy to apply. No
  additional equipment to
  purchase, i.e., rollers,
  brushes, buckets.

 Can be sprayed at any
 angle, even upside down,
 and without splattering.
  Creates a bond that

provides a continuous,
  uninterrupted film of
  water on a hull that
  reduces drag and
  increases hull efficiency.
  Creates a mechanical
  bond by entering the
  pores of the surface be-
  ing coated for durability
  Is long lasting – Will
  remain on a surface for
  approximately two years
  unless seriously abraded.
Is environmentally friendly: non-toxic, will not flake
  off, does not emit c
hlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s) or
  harmful
volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). Spray
can uses air pressure rather than chemicals to
  dispense product.

Application basics

  All underwater
  surfaces
  Surfaces must be
  clean, dry, and not
  in direct sunlight
  A light mist is
  all that's
  necessary
  Can be sprayed
  upside down or
  at any angle
  Cures in 1 hour;
  allow 1 hour wet-
  out time

Hyspeedkote utilizes a non-aerosol, pre-charged airless spray system. Each can contains a pouch into which the product is injected. During application, HSK is forced out by air pressure surrounding the pouch. (The air remains in the can.) This assures freshness, is why HSK can be sprayed at any angle, and why it is environmentally friendly. For a graphic view of the spray system

Dependent on hull configuration. Deeper hulls require more product.

1.5 oz. can (covers approx. 20 sq. ft.)
3.5 oz. can (covers approx. 50 sq. ft.)
7 oz. can (covers approx. 100 sq. ft.)
14 oz. can (covers approx. 200 sq. ft.)
14 oz. can + 7 oz. can (covers approx. 300 sq. ft.)

To more accurately estimate how many ounces are required you must know the square footage of the hull beneath the waterline. Multiplying the length by the beam will give you that figure for shallow draft vessels. For deep-V hulls, fixed keel sailboats and such, the additional underwater surface must also be taken into account. Also account for drives, trim tabs, paddles, and the like.

         Longevity

Under ideal conditions Hyspeedkote will remain on a surface for approximately two years. However, It may have to be applied more often depending on abrasion encountered when running aground, beaching, transporting coated surfaces, and so forth.

Trailering

Under no circumstance will Hyspeedkote make coated surfaces slippery or slimy. Therefore, there is no danger of a vessel slipping off a trailer resulting from application of the product.
